Idea for the essay!

1.) What is the issue you plan to research and write about?

- U.S military bases in Okinawa. (Let Okinawa go of the U.S military bases from Okinawa immediately?)

2.) Why is the issue important? What is the significance?

     - There are a lot of U.S military bases in Okinawa, and it causes many problems such as noise pollution, criminal things and so on. Through these problems, people there want to move bases from Okinawa to somewhere immediately. However, is it right to move these bases immediately even though we still depend on bases like in economy, and no idea after all?

3.) Why are you interested in this? What’s the connection to YOU?

     - Actually, I’m from Okinawa, and these problems are very common and the nature of things for me. However, in this summer, I realized that how blindness I am about these problems when I leaned that again through study tour and so on. For these reasons, I would like to know more deeply about that.

4.) What questions do you have about this issue? What do you want to find out?

     - How much income does Okinawa depend on from U.S military bases.

     - How many people are working there. (Japanese, Foreigners) = Employment

     - Do we have any good plan to fix economic system after they move to somewhere.

     - Is it really possible to move bases from Okinawa, actually.

     - Base culture in Okinawa.

     - Reality of U.S military bases in Okinawa.
